The future belongs to our children. A modern residential quarter oriented toward the future must therefore have a high performance infrastructure for children and youth. Prima Colonia represents the entire generational spectrum of Cologne, with the living conditions being particularly well suited for raising children and family life.

Multifaceted facilities have been constructed and brought into operation in the residential quarter over the past years. For example, the planning and construction of the municipal nursery school and municipal primary school – the so-called Olympia School – was accompanied on behalf of the City of Cologne.

The Olympia School significantly improved the educational situation in Widdersdorf. A modern school building with a large schoolyard and playground is now available for the ca. 150 children. The dual track, barrier-free school has over 10 classrooms and multi-purpose rooms as well as a gymnasium. The building has an area for the open all-day school with a kitchen and three childcare rooms. Each classroom has PC connections. The sports complex is directly connected.
