In these times of fast living, with people becoming ever older and a growing consciousness of healthy living, medical care plays in important role. Prima Colona was able to have a modern health centre integrated into the community. Following the polyclinic model, more than 20 specialisations are housed under one roof with one patient portfolio and joint patient management. This makes it easier to provide and improve care while reducing costs.

Medical services and basic physician care are provided on three storeys in a mutually supportive and coordinated manner. The available specialisations include: general medicine, gynaecology, otorhinolaryngology, optometry, orthopaedics, radiology, ergotherapy, dentistry, and much more.

On the ground floor, behind a transparent façade, you’ll find the central reception, pharmacy, medical supply store and short-term care.

The operating rooms and supplemental therapy and wellness facilities such as rehabilitation medicine, physical therapy and speech therapy round off the programme.

There is a comfortable cafeteria available to patients as well as visitors. There is a senior care facility with room for 80 connected to the health centre. Residents receive care in 6 to 8 residential groups of 10 to 15 persons maximum. A further building will provide 44 comfortable living units for assisted living.
